Aams, Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies , is an entity of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. This body manages public gaming, production and marketing. Aams , having verified the development of online gaming, issues laws for the regulation and security of the entire technological structure, ensuring professionalism and reliability. In 2012 Aams was assimilated into the Customs Agency. Aams is responsible for controlling the legality of the companies that offer the gaming product and compliance with Italian regulations on data security and responsible gaming. Aams has the authority for the following aspects:
